Hibiscus Flower Wallpaper

Idea? A nice flower wallpaper of a photo of a Hibiscus rose.
And? After loading the picture to my computer, I noticed the background is really disturbing. It was a wall ;). I then decided I'll make a wallpaper with the hibiscus flower.

We have a lot of hibiscus plants at home, so I took a picture of one of them. It was a really beautiful hibiscus rose. Then I loaded the picture onto the computer and opened it in the gimp. I started cutting the hibiscus flower with the Path tool, and it took me (as stated below) two days to cut the flower as detailed as I wanted. After that I started messing with the color bakckground and I found out, that a blue one really makes the rose glow. I selected the blue background and that was it!

* 2 days cutting out the flower
* Half a days making other changes
* About 10MB of the original .xcf format
* 15 mins resizing and changing the format of the picture.
* As you saw before, made with the Gimp
